If I were a boy

If I were a boy,

I would go thru the fire,

For the sake of me,

For the sake of a woman 

I can never wish not to be.

If I were a boy,

He would've been my brother.

We would have fought for me,

Then I would just let him have me,

With the unconditional love

Of a younger sibling.

Then he would brust,

And play with my feelings.

He would kill me still

And we would fight everytime,

Over a game he couldn't play 

Right and lost.

I would remind him,

That women have feelings too,

And flowers need protection.

I would tell him,

With the unwavering lips,

Of a loving brother.
